Is Matcha Club free?

Yes. Matcha Club is free to download, with no ads and no account needed.

How do I find matcha near me?

Open Discover to see matcha cafés near you on the map, or ask Smart search for exactly what you fancy, like “iced oat matcha near me”. Mochi also picks a highly rated spot you haven’t tried every day.

Does Matcha Club work outside London?

Yes, anywhere Google Maps knows about cafés. The creator feed and Matcha Reads start in London.

How do I save a matcha café from TikTok or Instagram?

Paste the post’s link into Matcha Club. It reads the caption, the tagged location and, on TikTok, what’s said in the video, then finds the café. If the name only appears on screen, add screenshots or a screen recording. You check every match before it’s saved.

Can I import my Google Maps list of cafés?

Yes. Set the list to Shared in Google Maps, copy its link and paste it into Matcha Club. Your spots come in with their notes, as places to try or places you’ve been.

Do I need an account?

No. Open the app and start logging your matcha.

Where is my matcha journal saved?

On your iPhone and in your own iCloud, so it moves with you to a new phone. We can’t see it.

Is Matcha Club on Android?

Not yet. Matcha Club is for iPhone, running iOS 17 or later.

Can I suggest a post for the Club feed?

Yes. Switch on “Suggest for the Club feed” when you import a post. Only the post and the café are sent, and we review every one.

How do community matcha powder scores work?

Log a home brew with one of the guide powders and you can share your score. It’s anonymous: one vote per powder per phone.

How do I delete my data?

Delete entries in the app, or delete the app. For the iCloud copy, go to Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Account Storage › Matcha Club. More in our privacy policy.
